Empty Bowls Project

This is a nationwide event in which we sell our clay bowls to raise money for the hungry. They are $3.00 each and the money will go to the Grand Prairie Food Bank.

Gingerbread House Village

This is new this year! We are about to use slab construction with clay to build a town of gingerbread-style houses. It will have rural, suburban, and urban sections. At Christmas breakeach student will have a house or building to take home.

Experimenting with Color

Third grade is exploring how to combine and separate colors.

Colors

We are learning the color wheel and cool/warm colors. The class puppets, Sally and Joe, may be stopping by to try to eat our markers...so watch out!
